Purdue struggled to score from everywhere, managing just 37 points in a road loss to Illinois. The Boilers fell to 2-2 in conference play and will travel to Ann Arbor next to face Michigan on Thursday.

Purdue came out flat, closed to within 2, and then finished even worse, dropping a 70-56 decision at Nebraska to fall into a 10-way tie for third in conference play.
