7-seed Purdue came back from an 18-24 deficit in the opening set, fighting off six set points to win 26-24 and go on to sweep High Point 3-0 in NCAA second-round play. The Boilers will face 10-seed Oregon at 8:30 PM Sunday on ESPNU.
7-seed Purdue opens NCAA tournament play Thursday against High Point or Central Florida; six Boilers picked up postseason awards, including first-team all-conference honors for a program-record 4 players and the first time a Boiler has ever been named Defensive Player of the Year in the conference.

Purdue volleyball got through a rough start of their schedule at 2-4, sweeping Iowa twice, dropping two 0-3s to Wisconsin, and losing a pair of five-set matches to Minnesota. They’re scheduled to visit Ann Arbor to play the Wolverines Saturday and Sunday.
