Purdue came out flat, closed to within 2, and then finished even worse, dropping a 70-56 decision at Nebraska to fall into a 10-way tie for third in conference play. The Boilers ski east to face Ohio University Tuesday, then hit Indianapolis for the Crossroads Classic against Butler before returning to Mackey against Central Michigan to close out the year.
Purdue defended home court in their first matches in Holloway since 2013, defeating Wright State and Marquette to advance to the Sweet 16, where they’ll face 1-seed Baylor at noon on Friday.
