Purdue posted historic wins last weekend, ending long droughts at Wisconsin and Minnesota and closing to within one game of the conference lead with 3-1 wins in Madison and Minneapolis. They look to extend their six-match winning streak (currently tops in the conference) against Michigan Friday and at Northwestern Sunday.
Purdue survived some spirited play by Maryland and Rutgers to post a couple of road wins in the run-up to their biggest week of the season; they will face #3 Wisconsin and #10 Minnesota on the road Friday and Sunday, respectively, as they try to draw within one game of the conference-leading Badgers.
