Purdue volleyball snapped a five-match losing streak Saturday, sweeping Rutgers after being swept by Penn State Friday night. The Boilers (#21 Massey, #22 AVCA) move to 12-7, 2-6 in conference play, and travel to Northwestern and #24/#24 Illinois this weekend.
Bridget Perry scored a career-high 27 points and the Boilers used an 11-0 run to defeat Penn State in double overtime, 88-78, despite losing Bree Horrocks to injury late in the first quarter. Purdue moves a game ahead of Nebraska in conference play and is 1.5 back of co-leaders Maryland and Ohio State.
