Now seems like as good a time as any to commemorate our eight year in bidness here at Boiled Sports. In November of 2006, couple of young, handsome men came together with a dream. A dream that someone might actually write about Purdue sports with an opinion column feel. And that those opinions would be ours and not those manufactured and approved by the Purdue Athletic Department.

Who could have known the gift of Danny Hope would fall into our laps? Or that Purdue football would spiral down the drain almost concurrently with our rise to global dominance (“global” is a relative term we’ll need to look up).

More than 3500 posts (more than one per day) and over eighty Handsome Hours… and we’re still talking. And as you’ve no doubt noticed recently, we’ve added a JV squad to the BS Podcast Network. (I kid, boys.)

If nothing else, marking the anniversary of launching our little corner of the interwebnet reminds us to say thanks to you, the readers and listeners. We’re not doing this for you – we’re doing it because we are you.
