Last week's ballot |
A number of teams had no game scheduled this weekend, which makes things interesting. I don't like to move a team up when they don't even play, because it really makes the polls seem useless. Why should you be rewarded for others failing? Alas, when a bunch of teams don't play, it happens.
More and more posers are being exposed. Auburn got smoked, for example, and Mississippi showed they (like California) were overhyped and not up to the task. Texas won their game but lose a spot in the national poll to Alabamas -- is that fair? I still think Texas should be #2. I also decided to -- tentatively -- give Central Michigan some love. Did you know Dan LeFevour has more rushing yards AND passing yards than Tim Tebow in his career?
Opinions, as always, welcome. Well, "welcome" may be strong.
Do your thing.
