I just wanted to quickly ask the readers to take a moment of silence for Sean Matti. Today would have been his Birthday.

As you most likely know, Sean passed away this summer after he ran out of energy while swimming out in a lake in the West Lafayette area. The team has dedicated the 2011 season to Sean; his image and name were put on the jumbotron at the MTSU game during the moment of silence. [Sidenote: Thank you MTSU for your respect as well] His family has still attended games and the players have added #22 stickers on the back of their helmets.

Sean was a good kid who had an unfortunate death. He was a member of our family.
